On this date in 1945, our dream of a National Socialist nation temporarily died along with our Fuhrer in his bunker beneath the chancellery in Berlin. Unlike most of his generals - including Heinrich Himmler, he stayed at his post until the end.
His favorite bodyguard Oberscharfuhrer (Master Sergeant) Rochas Misch was on guard outside of Hitler's private quarters when he heard the fatal shot. He, along with Hauptsturmfuhrer (Captain) Otto Gunsche carried the bodies of Hitler and Eva Braun-Hitler outside to a pre-dug pit, doused them with gasoline and burned them. Both Misch and Gunsche served time in prison, but both died free men.
Both Misch and Gunsche deserve special honors from us because they too stayed at their posts until the end.
Below are various maps, diagrams, and pictures of the Fuhrer Bunker. Click to enlarge.
The room where Hitler Died. His body was found by Rochus Misch on the sofa in the background. The man in the photo is a Russian soldier.
Our dream was resurrected in 1959 by Commander George Lincoln Rockwell.
Chairman Suhayda can't do everything by himself. It is up to all of us today to keep the dream alive.
